I’ve swam and survived in 1000 feet of water

I’ve swam clutching the side of deflating life rafts, in 500 feet of water. I survived.

I’ve swam and survived riptides in 400 feet of water

I’m exhausted

I’ll fall apart with all my heart,

It’s been months and months of back and forth,

Rain came pouring down when I am drowning,

I’m exhausted,

My passion to get up off the ground and stop eating dirt,

I am separated from the possibility of change,

 I am drowning in two feet of water.
